A substantial five bedroom, detached villa for sale near the town of Ourem in Central Portugal. The villa, which is set over two floors, is tastefully decorated and has many traditional style features including internal wooden shutters and marble cobbled paths.
The villa, which measures approximately 296 square metres of construction, has a mature walled garden and good views over the countryside and to the hillside castle Ourem.

The property briefly comprises: Ground Floor: The main entrance leads into a spacious entrance hall, which has a hardwood floor and traditional style, decorative wooden ceiling. Within the hallway there is a central staircase, which has wooden treads and feature wrought ironwork spindles. There is a set of double, part glazed patio doors, which lead out to a sun room with glass and wrought iron walls to the rear of the villa.
Off the hallway there is a spacious living room, with a hardwood floor and a central stone fireplace. The fireplace has a recirculating hot air Salamander log burner in place. There are two sets of part glazed patio doors, which lead out to a covered terrace to the front of the property.

The work surfaces are marble and the oven and hob are integrated. Off the kitchen there is a fully tiled pantry.
There are three double bedrooms to the ground floor, all of which have hard wood flooring and internal wooden shutters. The first bedroom is double aspect and has a set of built in wooden wardrobes with wooden doors. The second bedroom also has built in wooden wardrobes with sliding opaque glazed doors as well as a set of part glazed patio doors which lead out to a sun room at the rear of the property. This storage room has a tiled floor and is double aspect. There is also an open sided garage, which measures 31 square metres of construction and could house up to two vehicles. The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is 15 kilometres from the property. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with several supermarkets, schools, university, hospital, art gallery, bowling alley, cinema, museums, restaurants, cafes and shops. The Silver Coast resort of Nazare is only approximately 48 kilometres away from the property.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately 140 kilometres away (one hour and 40 minutes). Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
