A one bedroom furnished cottage available for long term rental near Tomar, central Portugal. The cottage, which is set over one floor, is connected to both mains water and electricity. The cottage is close to Castelo do Bode lake and has views of it from the patio garden.

The cottage is furnished and has an open plan living room and kitchen, which is fully fitted. The cottage has a patio garden with good views over Castelo do Bode lake and is within walking distance of several cafes. The property briefly comprises:

The main entrance to the cottage leads into an open plan living room and kitchen. This room has a tiled floor and a good selection of built in base and eye level wooden units. The work surfaces are marble and there is a free standing gas oven with hob, washing machines, integrated fridge freezer, hot water heater, microwave and toaster and dish washer. There is a brick fireplace within the living room kitchen along with a seating area and table and chairs.

There is a spacious double bedroom, which has a double bed and bunk beds as well as a built in wooden wardrobe. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower, bidet, toilet and pedestal sink. There is an exterior dining area at the front of the cottage complete with barbecue.

The property is situated in Alverangel, a small hamlet which has several cafe bars and is close to Castelo do Bode Lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir. The historic town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, restaurants, cafe bars, art galleries, museums, castle, bus and train stations, hospital and shops, is approximately 10 minutes by car. Tomar is also home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, constructed by the Knights Templar in the 12th century.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
