The property is located near the village of Arega in Central Portugal. Arega has several cafe bar restaurants and is approximately 15 minutes drive from Figueiro dos Vinhos, which has shops, supermarkets, health centres, doctors, a river beach and  builders' merchants.

The closest airport to the property is located at Porto, which is approximately one and a half hours by car. Porto airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
