The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere, which has banks, supermarkets, schools, butchers, bakers, restaurants, shops, cafes, builder merchants, local town council and municipal swimming pools, is only around nine kilometres drive from the property.

The historic town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, cafe bars, restaurants, a weekly market, castle, library, schools, doctors, hospital, bus and train stations, is around 20 minutes by car. Tomar is a popular and bustling town which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo - constructed by the Knight Templars' in the 12th century.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which takes around one and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
