The living room is situated at the front of the house and is double aspect. The floor and the ceiling of the living room are wooden and there are decorative internal wooden shutters. There is also a study to this floor, which has a wooden floor and ceiling. There is a wooden staircase which leads to the first floor accommodation off the central hallway.

First Floor: There are four bedrooms to the first floor, all of which are double aspect with internal wooden shutters. There is a central hallway, which has a wooden floor and ceiling and a set of patio doors, which open out onto a 'Juliet' style balcony.

Annexes: The property has a variety of stone built annexes adjacent to the house, all of which are single storey. One of the annexes has been used as a storage shed, another has been used for making and storing wine and the third has been converted into a garage. Cottage: There is also an old stone single storey cottage which requires renovation and modernisation work. The cottage, which has a wooden beamed roof, has stone window and door surrounds. The cottage is traditional in its' layout and there are two bedrooms off a living room and a rustic kitchen.

LOCATION INFORMATION

The property is situated in the village of Moreiras Pequenas in central Portugal. There is a neighbouring property opposite, though does not overlook or impede the privacy of the house. There is a cafe and mini-market within walking distance of the house and the large town of Torres Novas is only 15 kilometres away.

 

Torres Novas has supermarkets, shops, cafes bars, restaurants, a castle, swimming pool, health centre, schools and post offices as well as a historic centre with a medieval castle.

 

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo constructed by the Knight Templars, is approximately 11 kilometres from the land. Tomar has a variety of shops, supermarkets, builders' merchants, architects, schools and bus and train station.

 

The land is easy to access and to locate. It is approximately one and a quarter hours' from the closest airport, which is at Lisbon. Lisbon airport is accessed by several low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
