and has complete privacy. There is a road in front of the property,
though does not receive a great deal of traffic. The closest village to
the property is situated at Beco, which is approximately four kilometres
away. Beco has several cafes and a restaurant and is a popular location
for many tourist because of the stunning scenery.
The larger town of Ferreira do Zęzere is
around 13 kilometres drive from the property. Ferreira do Zęzere is a
popular town and has supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, banks,
schools, butchers, bakeries, bus station, builders merchants and
municipal sports centre.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home
to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo built in the 12th century by the
Knight Templars, is around 30 kilometres from the property. Tomar has a
variety of supermarkets, shops, banks, university, schools, cafes,
restaurants, bus and train station, art gallery, museums, bowling alley,
cinema and has regular festivals through out the year.
The closest airport to the property is
situated at Lisbon, which is 164 kilometres away. Lisbon airport is
serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into
and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
