The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo built in the 12th century by the Knight Templars, is around 30 kilometres from the property. Tomar has a variety of supermarkets, shops, banks, university, schools, cafes, restaurants, bus and train station, art gallery, museums, bowling alley, cinema and has regular festivals through out the year.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is 164 kilometres away. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
