The property is situated in the village of Carregueiros which has many cafe bars, restaurants, a pharmacy and mini-market.

The historic town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, banks, health centre, art galleries, library, cinema, bowling alley, theatre, shops, restaurants and bus and train station, is approximately 10 minutes by car. Tomar is famous for the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, which was constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century.

Portugal's second largest reservoir, Castelo do Bode lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sports, is around 20 minutes drive from the property.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
