Off the living room there are two bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors and ceilings. The kitchen is situated at the rear of the cottage. The kitchen has a large traditional style fireplace and a concrete floor. Off the kitchen there is a pantry, which also has a concrete floor.

The third bedroom is located off the kitchen and this has a wooden floor and ceiling. The bathroom, which has a toilet, bidet and pedestal sink is also situated off the kitchen. To the rear of the cottage there is a second kitchen which also has a large fireplace in situ.

The cottage has a mature garden with a variety of mature fruit trees including orange and olive. The cottage's garden is mainly flat and there are good open views across the countryside.

The cottage is located in the village of Casais, which is three kilometres north of Tomar. There are several cafes within walking distance of the cottage as well as a petrol station. Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, has a variety of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, art gallery, bowling alley, cinema and bus and train stations.

The cottage is easy to locate and is a short drive from the IC3 Tomar to Coimbra dual carriageway. The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which can be accessed both by car and train from Tomar. Both journeys take approximately one and a quarter hours.
