The cottage is set over
two floors and is fully double glazed with stone window and door
surrounds. The cottage is situated on the edge of a village and has a
private walled courtyard garden with built in barbecue and dining area.
The cottage also has a spacious plot of land with open views across the
countryside.
The walls of the cottage
are stone, though the exterior has been rendered in a traditional
fashion. There are some internal wooden shutters and much of the
interior has been tastefully restored using traditional materials. The
cottage briefly comprises:
Ground Floor: The
ground floor of the cottage has been divided into three separate rooms,
all of which are being used for storage purposes.
First Floor: The
living accommodation is located on the first floor of the cottage, which
is accessed via an exterior stone staircase with wrought iron railing.
There is an entrance hall, which has a tiled floor. This leads into a
living room, which has a wooden floor. There are two bedrooms, both of
which have wooden ceilings and floors. One of these bedrooms has an
en-suite bathroom, which is fully tiled. The en-suite bathroom has a
shower, bidet, toilet and marble topped vanity basin with mirror above.
There is a second living room, which has a corner fireplace. The kitchen
is fully tiled and also has a corner fireplace. There is a bathroom,
which is fully tiled, with a shower, toilet, bidet and marble topped
vanity unit.
To the exterior of the
house there is a detached annex, which is being used for storage
purposes and as a laundry. There is a barbecue with bread oven and food
preparation area. The cottage has good views over the countryside and
there is plenty of space for a pool. |
