From Lisbon Airport: Out of the airport follow the signs for the A1 North. Follow this toll road until Junction 7. Take the A23 motorway sign posted Abrantes, Tomar. Branch right onto the IC3 - signed Tomar. Exit the IC3 at first junction marked Tomar. At the round about turn right under the motorway. At the second roundabout turn right and follow this road into Tomar until you reach the Praca Alves roundabout (with a fountain). At this round about bear right and cross the bridge. Chavetejo is set back on the left hand side of the road. (138 Kilometres)
From Porto Airport: Out of airport turn right on to A41 motorway (signed Porto). At Junction 9 turn right onto A28 signed Porto/Lisbon. Follow this road until it joins the A1 south. Take the A1 South, turning off at Junction 7 onto the A23 motorway sign posted Abrantes, Tomar. Branch right onto the IC3 - signed Tomar. Exit the IC3 at first junction marked Tomar. At the round about turn right under the motorway. At the second roundabout turn right and follow this road into Tomar until you reach the Praca Alves roundabout (with a fountain). At this round about bear right and cross the bridge. Chavetejo is set back on the left hand side of the road. (224 kilometres)
From Faro Airport: Out of airport follow signs for N2 road. Turn left onto the N2 and follow until you reach Junction 9 and turn left onto A22 signed Lagos. Turn onto the A2 (signed Lisbon) toll road. Follow this road (it changes into the A13) until junction 4, then bear left onto A10. Follow this until the road meets the A1. Then turn right onto A1 north. Turn off the A1 at Junction 7 onto A23motorway sign posted Abrantes, Tomar. Branch right onto the IC3 - signed Tomar. Exit the IC3 at first junction marked Tomar. At the round about turn right under the motorway. At the second roundabout turn right and follow this road into Tomar until you reach the Praca Alves roundabout (with a fountain). At this round about bear right and cross the bridge. Chavetejo is set back on the left hand side of the road. (403 Kilometres) |
