The property is situated in the centre of the village of Curvaceiros, which has cafes and a small shop. The larger town of Tomar, which is famous for the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo constructed in the 12th century by the Knight Templars, is a short drive from the property (around seven kilometres).
Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a variety of supermarkets, health centres, schools, banks, cafes, shops, builders merchants, restaurants, library, university, bowling alley and swimming pool.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' drive. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
