The farm is situated near the town of Ferreira do Zêzere in central Portugal. Ferreira do Zêzere is a thriving town with all modern amenities including supermarkets, banks, health centres, shops, cafes, restaurants, builders merchants and library. 

The cottages are situated on a road, however this receives only local traffic. Castelo do Bode lake, which is Portugal's second largest reservoir, is a short drive from the farm and is a population destination for all kinds of water sports.

The larger town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo - constructed by the Knight Templars, is approximately 20 minutes drive from the property.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
