The house is situated on the edge of Ferreira do Zęzere and is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town. The house is situated in the town of Ferreira do Zęzere in Central Portugal. Ferreira do Zęzere has several supermarkets, banks, shops, cafes, restaurants, post office, health centre, bus station and schools.
Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir, is close to Ferreira do Zęzere and there are several public river beaches. Castelo do Bode is popular for all kinds of water sports including sailing, swimming, scuba diving, canoeing and fishing.
The historic town of Tomar also has supermarkets as well as the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, art galleries, museums, train and and bus stations and a hospital. Tomar is approximately 20 minutes drive from Ferreira do Zęzere.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate scheduled flights into and out of the United Kingdom. |
