A two storey stone built house for sale in Jordões, Central Portugal. The house, which is connected to mains electricity and water, does require some modernisation, but has ample accommodation and is situated in a peaceful location. The house is set over two floors and is being sold with 2,300 square metres of land. The ground floor has mainly been used for storage, however one of the rooms has been used as an adega (for making wine). The first floor of the property, which is accessed via an exterior stone staircase has a traditional layout. The entrance door leads into a 'Marquise' style sitting room, which is double aspect. This living room has a wooden floor and some internal wood shutter. Off this living there are double, wooden doors which lead into a central hallway. The hallway has a wooden floor and wooden beamed ceiling. There are three bedrooms, all with wooden floors and ceilings and some internal wood shutters. There is a rustic style kitchen with a large fireplace. The bathroom is partially tiled and has a bath, pedestal sink, bidet and toilet. The property also has an annex, which has been used for storage. The land around the property is reasonably flat and has a well and animal corals. There are a number of mature grape vines and fruit trees including orange and olive. The property is situated within the quiet village of Jordões, which is approximately two kilometres from the market town of Cabaços, which has several cafe bar restaurants, a mini-market, shops, petrol station and weekly market.
The large town of Alvaiázere, which has supermarkets, a health centre, sports centre, cafe bars, restaurants, shops and schools, is approximately ten minutes drive. The world heritage town of Tomar is approximately 20 minutes by car.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, approximately an hour and a half drive. Porto airport is slightly further away taking around two and a half hours' by car. |
