A two bedroom detached farmhouse with 12,811 square metres of land for sale near Leiria, Silver Coast, Portugal. The property, which does require some modernisation work, is situated in a peaceful area and has a good variety of mature trees. The property is habitable and is connected to both mains water and electricity and also has a well.

The property is set over two floors, though the living accommodation at present is only situated on the first floor, as is traditional in houses of this age. The property is set on a plot measuring 12,811 square metres, the majority of which is flat. The current owner has been working the land with a variety of crops, though is ideal land for grazing horses. There are a number of mature trees in situ including figs, olives and Nespera.

The property is situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Vale Maior and is within walking distance of a cafe. The closest town to the property is situated at Leiria, which has a good variety of large supermarkets, builders' merchants, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, schools, health centres, doctors, post offices, bus station and sport centres. Leiria is around 20 minutes drive from the property.

The Silver Coast beaches of Sao Pedro do Muel and Praia da Viera are around 30 kilometres drive from the property. The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
