There is a sink and drainer and an exterior access door which leads out to the rear of the cottage.  The bathroom is partially tiled and has a shower, toilet and pedestal sink though would benefit from modernisation work.

Although the cottage's living accommodation is set over one floor there is a cellar room, due to the property's siting on a slight hillside. This cellar room has exposed stone walls and a dirt floor as well as a wooden beamed ceiling. The cottage has a garden measuring 161 square metres and there is a ruined building which is included within the sale at the rear. There are some mature fruit trees and shrubs within the garden in addition to a well.

The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Longra, near Tomar. There are several cafe bars near the property and the larger town of Tomar is around 10 minutes drive from the cottage. Tomar has supermarkets, post offices, health centres, pharmacies, cinema, library, art galleries, municipal swimming pools, UNESCO listed castle and convent, bus and train station and a bowling alley.

The property is situated in a peaceful location with good views over the countryside and central to many activities within the region. The property is easily accessed and the closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours drive.
