A two bedroom terraced cottage in need of modernisation for sale near Tomar, central Portugal. There is also a pantry off one of the kitchens, but this could be merged to form a larger room. The property is connected to both mains electricity and water. The property's land is accessed through the house and is all relatively flat with some olive and fruit trees.

The cottage is located in Marmeleiro, which is approximately ten minutes drive from the World Heritage town of Tomar in Central Portugal. Tomar has all amenities for modern living including hospital, bus and train stations, pharmacies, supermarkets, butchers, bakers and banks as wells a good selection of builders merchants, schools, shops, cafes, bars, cinema and bowling alley. Tomar is famous for it's UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo and Castle, which was constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th Century.

The cottage is easy to locate and within an easy driving distance of Castelo do Bode lake, which is Portugal's second largest reservoir, a popular location for many water sports. The closest airport to the cottage is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours' drive by car.
