The house, which is set over two floors, is situated in the heart of the small village of Sao Pedro de Mosteiro and is connected to both mains water and electricity. The property measures 80 square metres of construction and has a patio garden. The property is a traditional village house and has been restored and is ready to move into. The main entrance to the house leads into the living room, which has exposed stone walls and a stone paved floor. The ceiling of the living room is traditional style wooden beamed. An archway leads through to the kitchen, which has partially tiled walls. The kitchen has a range of modern style base and eye level wooden units with granite work surfaces. There is a log burning stove within the kitchen and there is a part glazed exterior access door, which leads out to the walled patio garden at the side of the house. There is a wooden staircase which leads to the first floor accommodation. The staircase opens out directly into the bedroom, which has a tiled floor. The bedroom is spacious and has a wooden ceiling. There are several, traditional 'reading' window seats within the room and the windows have internal wooden shutters. Off the bedroom there is a hallway, which has a tiled floor. This hallway has a part glazed external access door, which leads out to a stone staircase down to the patio garden. The bathroom is partially tiled and has a shower, toilet and vanity basin with storage cupboard beneath. The property is situated within the village of Mosteiro and as such there are neighbouring properties all around. However there is a patio garden which currently has a small storage building, which could be demolished to provide more space. The village of Mosteiro which has a river beach. The river beach is only around 40 metres from the property. There are several small cafes within the village, however the larger town of Pedrógão Grande is only around ten minutes drive. Pedrógão Grande has a range of shops, cafes, restaurants, schools, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, weekly market, post office and town hall. The closest airport to the property is situated at Porto, which is around two hours and ten minutes by car. Porto airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
