The property is connected to both mains water and electricity and measures 112 square metres of construction with land measuring 6,550 square metres. The property is in a habitable condition though both cottages do need a good deal of renovation work carrying out. The main cottage is set over two floors and has wooden framed windows and doors. The ground floor of this cottage has been used for storage purposes. To the first floor of the cottage there are two bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors. There is a bathroom with toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. There is a living room, again with wooden floor. The kitchen has a tiled floor and a selection of wooden base and eye level units, some of which have glazed panels. There is a marble sink and drainer and a corner fireplace. The second cottage is set over one floor and needs a good deal of renovation work. At present this cottage, which is situated adjacent to the first, is one open room and has a dirt floor with wooden beamed roof. The property also has a number of single storey storage buildings. Both cottages are set on a quiet road which receives relatively little traffic. the property has land measuring 6,550 square metres, which is all relatively flat. There are a variety of mature fruit and olive trees in situ including orange, Nespera and fig. The property is situated near the village of Nesperal in central Portugal and is a short drive from several cafes and mini-markets. The town of Cernache do Bonjardim, which has shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, health centre, school, builders merchants and weekly market is around five minutes drive from the property. The larger town of Sertã, which has supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacies and schools is around 10 minutes by car. The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around two hours and ten minutes by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
