Tomar has a good selection of supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, pharmacies, schools, restaurants, sports and health centres as well as a cinema, bowling alley, tennis club, swimming pool, parks and other historic monuments.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
