The house, which was
constructed in stone, requires some internal finishing including
decoration to the ceilings, bathroom fitments and installation of
lighting. The house is set over two levels and has retained some
original features including an exposed stone wall to the living room and
a traditional, open fireplace. The house, which is fully double glazed,
has been pre-installed for central heating. It briefly comprises:
Ground Floor: The
main entrance door, which is part glazed, leads into a vestibule with a
tiled floor. Off this vestibule there is a bespoke spiral staircase
leading to the first floor accommodation. The living room is accessed
off this vestibule. The living room is double aspect and spacious with a
ceramic tiled floor. To one corner of the living room there is a large,
traditional fireplace with stone pillars. Part of the ceiling of the
living room is wooden and there is a set of patio doors which lead out
to the garden at the front of the house.
The kitchen is
positioned adjacent to the living room and it has a wooden roof. The
kitchen is partially tiled and has a marble work surface and a drainer
sink. Below the work surface there is storage space in addition to an
alcove create to house a fridge freezer. There is a bathroom to this
floor. It has been fully tiled and plumbed ready for the installation of
a toilet, bidet, pedestal sink and bath, however these items are not in
place.
First Floor:
There are two bedrooms to the first floor accommodation. One of the
bedrooms has a wooden floor and exposed wooden roof. This bedroom has an
alcove prepared for a built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a wooden
floor and a set of patio doors which lead out to a private, covered
veranda with a wooden roof. There is a bathroom to this floor, which has
been fully tiled. Plumbing has been installed for a toilet, shower
cubicle and pedestal sink, though these are not in place.
Annex: To the
side of the house there is an annex which houses a self contained
studio. This studio has a wooden ceiling, a ceramic tiled floor and a
set of fully glazed patio doors which lead out to the garden. The studio
is spacious and has a bathroom, which is partially tiled, as well as a
kitchenette.
The property is set on a
plot measuring 362 square metres and there are a variety of mature trees
including olive and orange. There ample parking for up to two vehicles
and enough room for the installation of a swimming pool. |
