The house is situated within the village of Outeiro Grande, which is approximately 15 kilometres from the town of Torres Novas. The village of Outeiro Grande has several cafe bars and a small mini-market. The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 12 kilometres drive.

Tomar is a popular town and has several supermarkets, a hospital, university, schools, health centres, shops, banks, weekly market, art galleries, cinema, bowling alley and restaurants.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
