A single storey, semi detached cottage for sale near Tomar in central Portugal. The cottage, which measures 160 square metres of construction, is connected to mains water and electricity and is in a basic habitable condition. The cottage is set on a quiet road and is within walking distance of amenities.

The cottage has wooden framed windows and exterior doors with some internal wooden shutters. The main entrance to the cottage leads into a hallway, which has a wooden floor and ceiling. Off this hallway there are three bedrooms, all of which have wooden floors and ceilings with some internal wooden shutters. There is a partially tiled bathroom, which has a bath with shower fitment above, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. The property has two kitchens, one older than the other and in a poor state of repair but has a corner chimney. The second kitchen has a selection of built in base and eye level melamine units with a double stainless steel sink and drainer. Off this kitchen there is a sun room, which has been used as a laundry room. There is a loft access within the sun room to the attic, which is spacious though has only been used for storage purposes.

The cottage is located in Paialvo, a village close to the historic town of Tomar in central Portugal. There are several cafes within the village as well as a shop and a main line train station, which runs directly between Tomar and Lisbon.

Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, schools, university, bus and train stations, art galleries, museums and a cinema, is around a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Tomar is also home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, which was the southern European headquarters of the Knight Templars. 

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours' drive from the house. Lisbon airport is service by several low cost airlines which have scheduled flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
