Ferreira is a popular town which has a weekly market and is close to Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir.

Tomar also boasts a municipal swimming pool, sports, centre, health centre, hospital, bus and train station, builders merchants, shops, cafe bars, restaurants, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, banks and post offices.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon airport, which is approximately one and a half hours by car. There are bus and train services to Lisbon airport, which run at regular intervals. A private taxi will cost approximately 70-100€ to the airport depending upon the time of the year and time of year for the journey. |
