The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento de Cristo, is around 15-20 minutes by car, though there is a local bus service which also provides access. Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, sports centres, historic monuments, bus and train station, schools and university as well as a hospital.
The town of Ferreira do Zêzere is also around 15 minutes drive from the property and is slightly smaller in size than Tomar. Ferreira do Zêzere has supermarkets, shops, bus station, cafes, restaurants and schools.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours’ by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
