Sertã is 14 km away. Sertã is an attractive historic town built on either side of a stunning river setting. It has many restaurants and bars as well as 3 major supermarkets, banks, schools, library, theater, cultural center, municipal swimming pool and river beach. There are also 2 weekly markets, held every Friday, one selling fruit, vegetables and livestock and the other selling clothes, tools, plants, shoes etc.
The district capital of Castelo Branco is a mere 40 minute, or 56 km drive away
The historic university city of Coimbra is an hour´s drive away from the property. Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO site Convento do Cristo, is also an hour away.
