Figueiró dos Vinhos is an attractive little town where you will find all amenities, including a public health center, private clinic, a public library with free internet access, an indoor public swimming pool, weekly market, many cafés and a few restaurants, mini-markets and super markets, service stations, workshops and garages. There are three lovely little river beaches within a few minutes´ drive away.

The regional capital and Portugal’s third city, the picturesque medieval university city of Coimbra, home of one of Europe’s leading university hospitals, is about an hour´s drive away. World Heritage Town of Tomar is about 45 minutes. The beaches on the Atlantic are easily reached by the dual carriageway IC8.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Porto, which is around two hours and ten minutes drive. Porto airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.

There is also a direct express bus from Figueiró dos Vinhos to Lisbon.
