Traditional Portuguese stonewall farmhouse situated in a quiet, tranquil area, surrounded by mostly flat farmland. It has established grapevines which produce a reasonable quantity of wine yearly. There are also olive trees, walnut trees, lemon trees, fig trees amongst other types of fruit trees. This area is close to various mountain trails, perfect for hiking and dog walking. It’s also close to amenities, with 2 municipality towns within 5 and 10 minutes drive away. We recommend this house as an inexpensive renovation project, which could result in a 3 bed, 2 bathroom, kitchen, living room and south west facing patio property.
As mentioned above, the property is situated off of a quiet village lane. There are metal gates leading on to a courtyard, with what could be a covered car port to the left. Further up, at the end of the courtyard, on the right, there’s an outside brick built barbecue and the entrance to the wine cellar, which has its own wine making tank. On entering the house, there’s a 20sqm reception room with two 10sqm bedrooms to the left. From the reception room, there are wooden double doors, which lead to a large, traditional kitchen area with a bathroom and a pantry to its left. From the kitchen there’s a door to the back, south west facing patio area, which has access to an outside toilet, the wood fired oven and a room on the other side of the wine cellar, which also provides access to the loft.
The garden is approximately 2500sqm, mostly flat land, it’s fenced, has a well for irrigation and an annex at the end, usable for garden storage. A third of it has grapevines, another third olive trees and the rest is a variety of fruit trees.
