On entering the property through the gates, you are lead up to the house on a pavement drive way. The house is set in an L shape so the drive way wraps around to the centre of the property.
One of the main entrances into the property leads you into the kitchen. The kitchen is nice and modern as it was fitted not long ago. Next to the kitchen there is a bathroom with a shower. Moving on through the house, we go down a long hallway which has two bedrooms coming off of it. Both of these rooms are spacious doubles and have large windows.
The living room is large and spacious and has a door and large window which leads onto another living space. This space has large doors which lead out onto the exterior. Here you could close of the entrance to the other part of the property making an independent living accommodation. This part of the house has a further three bedrooms and a bathroom.
To the exterior of the property there is an annex which has a toilet underneath and a large open space living/dining area. This could quite easily be turned into a granny annex or studio.
There is a nice barbecue area which has a bread oven as well. There is also an open fronted garage which is plenty big enough for two cars.
The house is situated in a village called Suimo, here there are two cafés and a mini market.
Only about ten minutes’ drive away from the property to a River beach called Agroal, this is a big attraction in the summer.
The larger town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 16 km from the property.
Tomar is a bustling market town with a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, health centres, hospitals, schools, bus and train station and university. The property is also only a short drive from Castelo do Bode lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sport activities.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours’ by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
