In 2015-2016 the original house, originally build about 1950, was demolished except for the thick exterior walls, and the main building was completely reconstructed. The Southern extension was left in its original state. It serves as workshop, storage place, and passage to the Southern sitting area and Garden. The main room of this extension houses a 2×5 m mobile swimming pool and it has a transparent ceiling. The covered South-Western entrance leads through a glass door to a large (29 m2) entrance hall covered by a 6 m2 ceiling light and containing a built in wardrobe. On the ground floor are two 15 m2 double bedrooms, each measuring approx. 15 square meters, one of which has a large built in wardrobe with a work surface, and a glass door to the front of the house. Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom with walk in shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin, and a utility room for the washing machine and tanks for domestic warm water and the underfloor heating. The water is either heated electrically or by the built-in wood burner on the ground floor.
Wide stone stairs lead from the ground floor to the hall on the first floor which has large South-facing windows. From there are doors to the terrace and to the main bathroom with shower, bath, toilet, bidet, and wash basin. Above the bath is a large window with panorama view over fields and woods. An open passage leads to the kitchen and living area, and stairs to the second floor. The open space living area measures 20 square meters and has a large window facing to the West. The kitchen area measures approx. 20 square meters has a central island containing the electric induction hob, oven, sink and dishwasher. There synthetic stone work surfaces, several built-in high cupboards, and space for a large fridge-freezer. Between the kitchen and living area there is a space large enough to accommodate a dining table for four people. Although there is no door between the kitchen and living areas, they are well separated by the central chimney/service shaft.
Walking up the stairs to the f the second floor, we arrive on a landing measuring 7 square meters, which leads to two bedrooms with slanted ceilings, facing East and West, respectively. One of the bedrooms leads to a large walk-in wardrobe. Accessible from the second floor landing are also a toilet with wash basin, and very spacious storage room with low ceiling.
