There are wonderful views into the surrounding countryside from the one of the bedrooms, from the living room, from the terrace of the guest house and from the pool area. Especially the sunsets are worth mentioning.
The property has a solar system for domestic hot water, which also serves the guest house. The house has excellent sun exposure, but with the good insulation, it says cool inside even on the hot days.

Castelo do Bode lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing, and also supplies the drinking water to Lisbon and other towns.
We are a four minute drive from the center of the village of Serra. It´s 13 km, or a 15 minute drive from the center of Tomar. There is a public bus stop right in front of the property, the bus going to Tomar.
Tomar is a bustling market town, which has a good variety of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, shops, pharmacies, health centers, sports centers, library, university, hospital, bus and train station, historic monuments and parks.
The nearest beach on the Atlantic ocean is an hour´s drive away.
The nearest airport is in Lisbon and it only takes one hour to drive there.
