The property is situated in the small hamlet of Rego da Murta and there are several cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The town of Alvaiázere , which has a range of shops, mini-markets, swimming pool, school, pharmacies, banks, post office and town hall, is approximately five kilometres drive from the property. The property is easy to access and has good links to the National 110 road.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the Convento do Cristo, is around 25 kilometres by car. Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, bars, cinema, bowling alley, historic monuments, sports centres, hospital, university and bus and train stations.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one hour and 40 minutes drive. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
