The farm is set on four hectares of land and is surrounded by eucalyptus trees, which give the property a secluded feel. The property has two farmhouses, one of which has been subdivided into four self contained apartments.
The main farmhouse is set over three floors and has been restored using traditional materials including wood, ceramic tiles and stone. The living accommodation briefly comprises:
Ground Floor A spacious living room with fireplace (which has a re-circulating hot air system installed) and a staircase to the first floor. Two sets of patio doors open out onto a terrace, which has views over the property's land. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Both rooms have wooden floors and lots of traditional features.
First Floor There is a large hallway, with traditional stone fireplace. The master bedroom bedroom has windows on two aspects and a large bathroom with shower and bath. There is a further single bedroom on this floor as well as a second fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
Second Floor There is a large storage cum sitting room to the second floor with traditional wooden ceilings. Off this room there are two further large bedrooms.
The second house, which is situated adjacent to the main farmhouse, is also constructed in stone. Part of this farmhouse is set over one floor though the older section of the house is two storey.
This farmhouse has been subdivided into four self contained apartments and briefly comprise:
Apartment 1: A one bedroom apartment with many traditional features including wooden floors and wooden ceilings. The apartment has a living room with kitchen off. the kitchen has a selection of built in units and a stainless steel sink and drainer. There is a spacious bedroom, which also has a

All the apartments have fitted shower rooms, log stoves and are fitted with kitchen facilities - hob, fridge and sink. All fixtures and fittings within the guest apartments are being sold with the property.
The property is south facing and also has a wine adega, garage, swimming pool and sprinkler irrigation system around the house (which is fed by a well on the land).
The farm is set in a quiet and peaceful area with good views over the countryside. The property is accessed via a tarmac road and there is a gated entrance. There is ample parking and the land immediately surrounding the farmhouses is all relatively flat and has been landscaped with a number of shrubs and palms. There is also a mature vineyard and a large eucalyptus forest. The property is located in a rural location but within walking distance of a cafe. The popular town of Ferreira do Zęzere is around a 5-10 minute drive from the property. Ferreira do Zęzere has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, tourist information and schools.
The property is also a short drive to Castelo do Bode lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including water-skiing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, scuba diving and sailing
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 20 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular and bustling town which attracts a good deal of visitors each year and holds a variety of festivals throughout the varying seasons. |
