Like most people I researched properties in Portugal on the internet, I found many sites but over the months leading up to my retirement I ended up just checking the Chavetejo site. Apart from lots of useful information and a good layout with good quality photographs they were the only ones who took the time to reply to my email enquiries.
When my retirement day finally arrived I grabbed my cash, loaded the car and headed for Portugal. I had a property in mind when I arrived, was happy to find it was still available.
Chavetejo guided me through the purchase, opening a bank account and setting up the utilities. Prior to purchase they found me temporary accommodation and after purchase they continued to be as helpful, polite, and friendly and are never too busy to provide useful information.
I thought moving to Portugal was going to be difficult. After I arrived and with Chavetejo holding my hand I found it was easy. My only worry now is my children will find me and spoil my peace and quiet.
So if you’re thinking of moving to Portugal my advice is look at Chavetejo web site. If they don’t have what you’re looking for contact them with your requirements you will not be disappointed with the staff or the service.
