A plot of land measuring 2,160 square
metres for sale close to Tomar in central Portugal. The land has already
been deemed viable for construction of a property by the local council,
however planning permission still needs to be attained.
The land, which is all relatively flat, is
accessed via a dirt driveway from the 'Tarmac' road. There are
neighbouring properties within the vicinity, but it has a good outlook.

The land is situated in the area of Santa
Maria do Olivais, which is a district to the east of the historic town
of Tomar. Tomar is
a popular and bustling town in the heart of Central Portugal. Tomar was
founded by the Knight Templars in the 12th century and the UNESCO listed
Convento do Cristo, the world famous church constructed by them is a
popular tourist attraction today.
Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops
and restaurants as well as banks, cafes, health centres, art galleries,
cinema, bowling alley, schools, hospital, bus and train stations and
university. There are also a number of architects offices and builders
merchants located within Tomar.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
Lisbon is serviced by several low cost airlines, which operate regular
flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
